Oh Ony, how I’ve missed you. Last night 9 bucklers and myself killed onyxia after the revamp. It’s pretty much the same old fight as it used to be with some damage overhauls and a new addition to phase 2. Once in phase 2 there’s an extra add that spawns every so often and having to pick that up while picking up the whelps is the only thing that makes it a little difficult. Ony dies, lock and shammy helms drop. The new rewards from the head of onyxia quest are pretty sweet though, one of the pieces was a decent upgrade for rev but I didn’t win the head so it doesn’t really matter.

So there’s this place in wow called Caverns of Time, I’m sure you’ve all heard of it. Outisde of this place in the desert of Tanaris is a big scary dragon, complete with wings and all, named Anchronos. A really long time ago, back during BC, a group that I was doing The Black Morass with noticed and tried to kill him since he’s only got about 1.5 million health or so. Sadly once he gets to 20% life he pulls a rogue and vanishes. But none the less we kicked the crap out of him.

About a week later myself and the priest that was with me decided to try and kite him around a bit and take him to gadget in hopes that we could get some horde killed. Well we got there and nothing happened, not even the guards tried to save us. So we decided to go further than just gadget. Eventually we got to Feralas, keep in mind that I had to tank him the whole time walking backwards, and we came to our first snag. The main path takes you through a horde town. A shadow priest that was in vent with us came and helped us find the side path around, thankfully. Pretty sure if we’d have gone through the horde town it wouldn’t have ended well.

A few minutes later we came to another snag, Anachronos wasn’t getting any heals and eventually would hit his reset point of 20%. I don’t remember how exactly we figured this out, but for some reason if you evade bug him by jumping in some water it resets his health back to 100%. Knowing this, anytime we’d get him to a dangerously low point we’d just find water.

Knowing how to heal him, and having a healer follow me around was enough to give us the biggest waste of time and greatest journey to make. Off to Darkshore we go, with dragon in tow. After a long journey from almost the lowest point on the map to the almost highest point on the map, we get to the entrance to Darkshore. And then I disconnect. Priest dies. We get all sad. :(

Now fast forward to about two days ago. The same priest and myself. Tanaris. Anachronos. Round 2 GO.

Only this time with more success, we get to Auberdine. The complete trip went as follows: Tanaris>1k Needles> Feralas> Desolace> Stonetalon Mountains> Ashenvale> Darkshore. It took around 3 hours. During the successful trip we were attacked by a Boomkin and we killed it twice, while a dragon was beating on me and half of my gear was in my bags so I didn’t kill the dragon.

So you know that saying about rabbits and multiplying? Well that happened yesterday on Mug. But instead of rabbits, it was Gnomes. Ah, good old Gnomestock, tons of gnomes running around all crazy like.

For those of you that read S&D you know what I’m talking about. Sam held an event on our server that was based around those tiny things that Tauren mistake as ants. The events went over pretty well and there were even a couple prizes to be won.

My favorite event was the Hunt for Sam, nobody knew where he was other than that he was just stealthed somewhere in Dun Morogh. Not even the BoS members knew, half of us were searching for him with all the gnomes running around. Because of this they were following ‘The Mrs.’, as she’s known on Sams blog, and myself. This event was the best one in my opinion due to how someone found josh. Just prior to this event we had the 40-50 gnomes (more than we thought was gonna show up) running from the gates of Ironforge back to the starting zone. The catch is that they were being chased by tons of Paper Zeppelins. The winner of the hide and seek event used one of these to their advantage, it was thrown at Sam without anyone knowing and he followed it to his hiding spot.

This person however did not win the prize since they won the gnome race at the beginning as well. But they definitely won the creativity award.

So I’ve pretty much solved my problem with the lack of fun I was having in WoW. A long time ago I rolled a priest with the sole purpose of mind controlling things off of stuff, that was the reason I made it. Due to the rut I was in with Revix I decided to start leveling that priest again, luckily a good friend and guildmate of mine was happening to level a prot warrior at the same time. Oh man did we just destroy anything we came across, including those good for nothing hordemen.

As time went on I began to notice that PvP was way more fun than it ever was on my druid. So I went with it. I’m not amazingly good at it just yet, but it’ll happen eventually. I find myself doing things with my priest that I pretty much swore to never do since I began playing this game. One of these things is healing, granted I don’t heal instances. The second of these things is BG’s. With my priest, I put them together and it’s a blast!

Because of this new 80 toon I’ve created, I think my banner is gonna have to change up a bit, might add some priesty flavor to it at some point. Just gotta find a good place to take a pic.

So it’s 2 in the morning currently, some friends and I decided we should go check out the Pirates Day Stuff, what a failure of a holiday. We were expecting lots more stuff to do, all there is to it is 1 achievable. The hardest part of doing this was sneaking past all the guards (gogo bloodsail admiral) and the horde. After talking to an NPC it was achievable get. GG Pirates Day. GG.

In other news GNOMESTOCK is almost here, Yours Truly will be assisting some of the things going on. Myself and the rest of Bucklers is hoping to see a pretty big turnout. Go check out the latest Slice & Dice post to read about what’s gonna be happening. See ya soon!

Do you like shiny things? Do you like random things? Do you like random and shiny things?

Well none of that is here so get lost.

Seriously though, my good friend Samuel Tempus has decided to host some sort of shindig on our server Mug’Thol (Pug’Lol is more like it amirite) check these posts out for more details: CLICK CLICK CLICK

Check out all three of those cli… err links. They’ll take you to a few different things describing what’s gonna happen. Some people, me, had to go to far away places to get supplies, Happy Fun Rocks, for this event so you better go there and post your ideas/thoughts and whatever else.

With the new xpac being announced at Blizzcon, I can only count down the days until wow becomes more fun again. It’s been losing it’s touch recently due to a bunch of different factors. One of the main factors is my work schedule compared to my guildmates schedules. Sadly I’m really only able to make very occasional raids, and by the time I get home from work most of my guildies are either offline or logging shortly. So what am I to do. I’m thinking my current options are to seek out a guild that raids at times around my schedule, fat chance at that happening I love BoS. Or I just make countless alts to play.

I’m not really the alt type,  I might make one from time to time just to mess around with, normally they don’t make it past level 30ish unless I’m leveling with someone. Although it may  be pretty much my only option since Revix isn’t as exciting to play as he once was, granted that’s prolly due to the lack of being able to raid. It’s a vicious cycle.

Maybe I’ll reroll horde somewhere and play from their point of view for a while. I don’t know, I need to think of something before I lose my mind.
